FAQ
Find answers about our ceramic artworks, display, care, shipping, and returns.
Artwork & Authenticity
What does “one of one” mean?
Each Glavelle artwork is offered as a single original piece. Once it is collected, the same work will not return to stock.
Are Glavelle artworks handmade?
Yes. Each work is hand-painted with color glaze and completed through high-temperature firing.
Will the artwork look exactly like the photos?
We photograph each original work individually. Screen settings and lighting can affect perceived color, while handmade texture and glaze variation are part of the actual piece.
Are glaze variations or small surface marks defects?
Natural glaze movement, fine crackle patterns, crystalline detail, and small handmade surface variations can be part of the work. Cracks through the ceramic body, chips, loose mounts, damaged frames, or structural damage are not considered normal variation.
Size, Display & Care
What size is the artwork?
Each product page lists the exact dimensions in both inches and centimeters. Review the dimensions and available scale references before purchasing.
How do I display or hang it?
Display instructions differ by artwork. Follow the mounting or placement information on the individual product page; not every piece is designed for the same display method.
Is hardware included?
Only when the product page explicitly says so. The included frame, display stand, mounting hardware, or other components always match the individual product listing.
How should I care for ceramic art?
Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, prolonged moisture, impacts, and unstable display surfaces. Follow any piece-specific care instructions shown on the product page.
Shipping & Orders
Do you ship to the United States?
Glavelle currently ships to eligible addresses within the United States. Orders are typically processed within 2–3 business days, and estimated transit time is 10–12 business days after dispatch. Tracking information will be sent by email once it becomes available.
Will I pay duties or taxes?
Standard shipping to eligible U.S. addresses and applicable import duties, customs fees, brokerage fees, and taxes associated with delivery are included in the product price. Your bank or payment provider may separately charge currency-conversion or international-transaction fees.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Keep the artwork and all packaging materials and contact Glavelle as soon as possible after delivery. Include your order number and photos of the outer box, internal packaging, shipping label, damaged area, and entire artwork so we can review the shipment.
Returns & Other Requests
Can I return a one-of-a-kind artwork?
You may request a return within 14 calendar days after delivery. Contact Glavelle before sending the artwork back. The artwork and all included frames, stands, mounting components, and accessories must meet the conditions stated in our Refund Policy. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs on non-quality-related returns.
Can I reserve or commission a piece?
Glavelle is not accepting reservations or commissions at launch. Each available artwork can be purchased directly through its product page.
